Soles4Souls Europe Stichting exists to transform donated shoes and clothing into opportunity and relief for people living in poverty, individuals affected by crisis, and communities in need around the world.
Our objectives include:
Supporting economic independence through sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Providing access to essential footwear and clothing to promote health and dignity.
Reducing environmental waste by extending the useful life of donated products.
These objectives guide all activities undertaken by the foundation.
Activities and Impact
Soles4Souls Europe Stichting operates year-round and pursues its objectives through activities that include:
Economic Opportunity
Donated shoes and clothing are made available through social enterprise models that support small business development and income generation for individuals and families.
Relief Distribution
New and essential clothing items are distributed at no cost to people affected by poverty, displacement, and natural disasters.
We continuously collect and redistribute thousands of donated shoes and clothing annually. Impact figures are updated on a yearly basis.
Fundraising
Soles4Souls Europe Stichting is funded through:
Donations of new and gently used shoes and clothing from individuals and organizations.
Product donations from retailers and manufacturers.
Monetary contributions from supporters who wish to advance the foundation’s objectives.
All funds and donated products are used to support the mission of the foundation. Soles4Souls Europe Stichting manages all product and monetary donations via segregated accounting for all revenue and expenditures allowing for full production of financial statements.
Asset Management
All assets held by Soles4Souls Europe Stichting are dedicated exclusively to advancing the foundation’s public-benefit objectives.
Board members have no legal claim on foundation assets. Upon dissolution of the foundation, assets will be distributed in accordance with Dutch law and public-benefit requirements.
Governance & Board Remuneration
Soles4Souls Europe Stichting is governed by an independent Board of Directors. The Board exercises oversight over the foundation’s activities and financial management.
Board members serve on a voluntary basis. They receive no remuneration for their service; only reimbursement for reasonable expenses incurred while performing their duties.
