WHAT IS SOLES4SOULS TRAVEL?

Soles4Souls' travel program exists to create sustainable social entrepreneurism by providing travel opportunities for volunteers to serve, learn and experience life in developing nations.

What do we do during the trip?

Each trip is different and unique. Our focus is providing footwear to those in need while spending time merging cultures and building relationships. On our trips, you will have the opportunity to experience and learn about a different culture first-hand. To learn more about each trip please feel free to read the information on each specific destination.

How much does it cost to go on a trip?

Cost varies upon destination. They typically cost between $1,500 - $2,750. All payments and donations for trips are tax deductable.

Payment Schedule:

  • $250 non-transferable deposit due at the time of registration to secure your spot on the trip (Your deposit fee is included in the overall cost of the trip)
  • 1/3 cost of trip is due 90 days prior to the trip
  • 2/3 cost of trip is due 60 days prior to the trip
  • Total cost of trip is due 30 days prior to the trip
What is included in the cost of my trip?

Lodging, meals, ground transportation, security, guides, excursion fees, travelers insurance, entry and exit fees, welcome package and materials, and a portion will go to offset the cost of shipping shoes.

What is NOT included in the cost of my trip?

Flight costs, personal items, souvenirs, snacks, etc.

How do we ensure safety on our trips?

For each trip, Soles4Souls partners with local leaders and organizations to plan and execute every detail of your trip. A travel coordinator will lead each trip along with a local guide from each country. Accommodations differ for each country and these are stated on the specific destination page. Accommodations are one of the following: hotel, guest home, community center and medical clinic. All food and water provided is safe to eat and drink.

What documents and immunizations are needed and how will I know to prepare for the trip?

A passport is required. Prior to your trip, you will receive a detailed information packet including an itinerary, history and cultural facts, recommended immunizations, packing list and helpful tips to assist you in preparing.

Is fundraising support provided?

Each individual registered for a trip is responsible for the trip cost. Soles4Souls, Inc. has fundraising pages that allow individuals to fundraise for their trip. Start your fundraising page. 

Returnee Discount

Participants that previously traveled with us receive $200 off any future trips.

Referral Discount

Participants receive $100 off their trip for each individual referred by them on the same trip. The referring participants name must be submitted by the referral when registering for their trip. (maximum of 3 referrals = $300 discount)

Payment Policy

Payment fees must be made online, fundraised, or mailed in by the due dates in order for the participant to remain on the trip.

Cancellation and refund policy
All cancellations must be in writing and mailed or faxed to Soles4Souls, Inc. Soles4Souls cannot refund any payments. However, trip participants who cancel more than 60 days prior to their trip departure date may apply their payments (excluding the $250 deposit) towards another trip, provided the trip occurs within 12 months of the cancellation date. Any forfeited payments will still be treated as a tax deductable gift to Soles4Souls. Cancellation insurance is not included in the cost, but is available upon request.
