Race4EveryKid 2026 Exceeds Goal, Providing Shoes for 23,000+ Students

Soles4Souls Annual Race4EverKid Exceeds Goal to Serve Children Experiencing Homelessness Nationwide

This May, we wrapped up our 6th annual Race4EveryKid, and the results blew us away!

Together we raised $460,000 to provide brand new athletic shoes to more than 23,000 students experiencing homelessness across the US, exceeding our goal of providing shoes to 21,250 children.

More than 1.2 million American children experience homelessness. Throughout the past month, over 1,200 participants across the globe logged more than 118,000 miles from running, walking, swimming, or biking. Every $20 raised supported our 4EveryKid initiative, providing a new pair of athletic shoes to a child experiencing homelessness, allowing them to attend school, try out for a sports team and stay active. This year’s race was sponsored by Voya Financial, Elementum, Zappos, US Travel Association, NRF Foundation, Jade Footwear, Efl, and Atlanta Shoe Market.

“The network of participants from our homebase in Nashville and worldwide played a powerful role in everything we were able to achieve during this year’s Race4EveryKid,” said Buddy Teaster, CEO and President of Soles4Souls. “When we come together, we can make meaningful strides in supporting the communities around us.
