GIVING SHOESDAY
IS DECEMBER 3RD

Help Turn No into Yes and give kids a brighter holiday by providing a new pair of shoes to children experiencing homelessness.

Shoes are at the top of their wish list.

Kids experiencing homelessness feel different from their peers. Having new shoes helps them feel like any other kid again.

When kids have shoes that feel good, they do, too!

“I feel better about myself. My old shoes were ugly and hurt my feet.”

– student in Madison, WI

Why shoes?

Many organizations provide help to families experiencing homelessness through food and shelter. But schools and shelters tell us there’s a big gap when it comes to shoes.

A new pair of shoes can change a child’s entire outlook.

Research shows shoes have a physical, psychological, and an emotional impact on a child’s well-being.

After receiving new shoes:

90%

of kids increase school attendance and engagement

98%

of kids feel more confident

75%

of kids increase their participation in sports and other extracurriculars

Based on surveys from our partners and the students themselves.

Make the most of Giving ShoesDay.
Give shoes.

Every $20 you give means another child will receive a brand new pair of name-brand athletic shoes.

Give joy.

You meet a tangible need AND give kids the confidence and joy they deserve to feel this holiday season and all year round.
