NALA Collects Shoes For Soles4Souls For Their 10th Year
All throughout the year, individuals and groups make a huge difference for Soles4Souls by collecting and donating their gently used pairs of shoes. The NALA, an organization that supports a range of professionals from legal workers to restaurants and doctors, as well as offering marketing programs to businesses, has been working with Soles4Souls for almost 10 years, collecting shoes across all their clients’ offices. Over the last few months, the NALA collectively gathered over 3,500 pairs of shoes.
In countries we serve like Haiti and Honduras, 3,500 pairs of shoes can provide food, shelter and education to a family for 2 years, or can provide a month of food, education and shelter to 25 families.
Tony Guglielmo collected close to 2000 pairs of shoes during his holiday S4S drive.
Daniel Honsvick of Caribe Resort, a client of NALA’s, says, “It went really well. Our team collected and shipped 642 pairs of shoes.”
Caribe Resort collected all the pairs just in the month of November between rallying employees, a local business, school and church. Initially, they had the goal to collect 100 pairs, but kept increasing it as more people around their community became involved. Next year, they plan to collect even more.
Other clients who collected for NALA include RE/MAX Professionals, Chris White at RE/MAX Alliance, The Dayton Law Firm, The Comerford Group at Keller Williams, Tammy Lapp, The Ludaway Group of Keller Williams, Webb Solar Realty LLC, Lee Brewer, Panella Law, Right at Home Dania Beach, Kased Law and Law Offices of Robert P. Bergman.
