Want to do better in the marketplace?
Do more good in the world.

People living in poverty want a better life, but many lack opportunity. At Soles4Souls, we turn unwanted shoes and clothing into opportunity by keeping them from going to waste and putting them to good use — providing relief, creating jobs and empowering people to break the cycle of poverty.

Since 2006, Soles4Souls has distributed more than 51 million pairs of shoes to 127 countries and all 50 U.S. states.

Why shoes? Because without them, people are vulnerable to disease and are often unable to attend school or look for work. And shoes can also empower people to build small businesses to escape poverty.

Did you know, we also distribute clothing?

Three simple ways to
partner with Soles4Souls

When your brand champions a cause that connects
with your customers, your bottom line is bound to grow.

Donate inventory.

Donate footwear or apparel to alleviate excess inventory, promote sustainability and restore hope and dignity to people living in poverty.

Engage your employees.

Invite your employees and customers by starting a shoe drive, matching their donation dollars or traveling with us to distribute shoes to people in need.

Engage in cause marketing.

Cause marketing is a fancy way of saying, “Let people know you’re doing good in the world so they’ll want to do business with you.” (That may sound a little selfish, but the truth is consumers prefer supporting companies with altruistic goals.)

There are lots of ways to customize a campaign. Here are just a few.
Point of sale.

Ask customers to support Soles4Souls at check-out and/or online, whether through a flat donation or a roundup.

Corporate match.
Encourage your employees to give back by providing a match for each dollar they donate.
Employee giving.

Invite your employees to collect shoes, host a fundraiser or even travel with us to distribute shoes.

Trade-in event.

Encourage customers to bring in a used pair of shoes to receive a discount on their next purchase.

Buy one give one.

Specify an item to donate to Soles4Souls. For every purchase of that item, one will be donated.

Our brand partners change lives.

These are companies making a difference
today with their active campaigns.

DSW customers can donate up to 20 pairs of new or gently-worn shoes to any DSW location and receive 50 DSW VIP Rewards points. Over 1 million pairs have been collected to date.

New Balance

New Balance encourages customers to donate a pair of athletic shoes to the nonprofit of their choice. Then, if they take a selfie with their donation and post it to social media using #NBGivesBack, the company donates $5 to Soles4Souls. Those dollars add up quickly, and since $1 = 1 pair of shoes, the impact is remarkable.

Through their annual Buy One, Give One “Share the Warmth” campaign, Macy’s has provided more than 35,000 coats (so far!) to people who need them the most.

Zappos for Good invites customers to donate new and gently used shoes and apparel by providing an online, pre-paid shipping label. So far, Zappos customers have donated over 300,000 pairs of shoes and pieces of clothing to Soles4Souls.
