Soles4Souls is partnering with Mall of America this back to school season to provide new athletic shoes to kids experiencing homelessness in the Twin Cities.
Over 10,000 kids in the Twin Cities experience homelessness
Thats why we're teaming up with Mall of America to raise $150,000 to provide new shoes to kids in need.

A Fresh Start
Back-to-school season should be about hope, not hardship. New clothes, shiny supplies, and a pair of shoes that fit just right.
For families struggling to afford rent or groceries, shoes are a heartbreaking “extra.” But for a child, they’re a lifeline to attendance, participation, and belonging.
Join us to level the playing field for kids as they head back to school.

Level Up! Field DayThe Level Up! Field Day is a fun-filled, interactive community event hosted by Soles4Souls in collaboration with Mall of America, designed to celebrate shoes, sports, and giving back.
Families, sports fans, and community members will engage in exciting, shoe-themed activities and sports-inspired challenges. Participants will have the chance to create memorable experiences while learning about the impact shoes have in kids’ lives.
Through playful competition, creativity, and storytelling, attendees will not only have an unforgettable day but also step forward together to support Soles4Souls’ mission of turning shoes into opportunity.

Minneapolis Public Schools shared with us just one example of how our support is making a positive impact on a local family:
“I just came here from Ecuador, with little to no resources. My family took everything we could grab that was important for us to have. I enrolled my children with Minneapolis Public Schools and spoke with the school social worker regarding our current homeless status. I shared that we didn’t come with much and that since we just arrived a week ago, I have not been able to find employment. The school social worker was very helpful with sharing resources for my family. She shared that the department not only had clothing and personal hygiene for my children, but they also had shoes. My heart was filled with happiness because my children were in need and this program helped my family. My children were able to get 2 pairs of shoes each, they were so happy with this choice of shoes. Seeing them smile brought tears to my eyes and this gave me hope that better days are ahead of us.”
